The partnership helps to support the energy industry in the transition to sustainable, reliable and affordable energy.<br \/>Siekmann\u2019s scope includes project management and consulting services for the supply of butterfly valves and gears, including production supervision, acceptance, performance guarantee and project completion. Electricity generated from offshore wind farms will be converted into direct current and transported to an onshore converter station near B\u00fcttel, Germany. Here, the electricity is converted back into three-phase current and fed into the extra-high voltage grid. The converter station (topside) is being built in a shipyard in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The facilities and the power grid are scheduled to go into operation in 2027. This project in the field of renewable energies will help shape a better tomorrow and leads to considerable cost savings through the use of new
